APSIM Conference Location
APSIM 2026 is taking place at the Health Innovation Acceleration Centre (HIAC) located at 66 Pippy Place, in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador.
Venue Capacity
The HIAC facility has a maximum capacity of 200 attendees, including speakers.
Attendance at the APSIM Conference is by online registration only. Walk‑ins will not be accepted, and unregistered individuals will not be permitted to attend.
Online registration opens in September 2026.
Venue Parking Information
On‑site parking at the HIAC facility is available on a first‑come, first‑served basis and is limited. Parking availability cannot be guaranteed for all attendees. To help reduce congestion and ensure a smoother experience, attendees are encouraged to carpool where possible. Thank you for your understanding.
No Food and Beverage Services Available
As the APSIM Conference is being offered free of charge, please note that complimentary coffee or food will not be provided for attendees. We encourage you to plan ahead to ensure you have what you need for a productive day.
Please be aware that the HIAC facility does not have food or beverages available for purchase on site. Attendees are welcome to bring their own refreshments or step offsite during conference breaks to purchase food or drinks. A water bottle refill station will be available at the HIAC facility for those who bring a reusable water bottle.

The HIAC facility has the following features and amenities:
- Free Wi-Fi: Stay connected with complimentary Wi-Fi available throughout the venue.
- Water Bottle Refill Station: Keep hydrated with easy access to the facility’s water bottle refill station.
- Universal Washrooms: Enjoy accessible washrooms featuring shared washing areas and fully enclosed lavatory rooms.
- Working Station: Utilize a small public working station equipped with USB ports for charging, plugs, and space for laptops.
- Room Configurations: The venue includes three rooms that can be arranged into one large plenary room or divided into three smaller breakout rooms, accommodating various session formats. The Conference will use both plenary and breakout rooms throughout each day.
- Parking: Free parking space is available but limited. Parking is on a first-come, first-served basis. Carpooling is encouraged.
