Apprenticeship Training Schedule

Apprenticeship Level Training Schedule: click here

Apprenticeship level training includes in-school training, which has a set number of hours for each level of training. It is scheduled by an Apprenticeship Program Officer once an apprentice has worked the required number of hours.

Online Training

Online training is available for five trades: Automotive Service Technician, Carpenter, Construction Electrician, Plumber and Welder. For more details, reach out to an Apprenticeship Program Officer.

Starting as an Apprentice?

If you have completed a pre-employment program before registering as an apprentice, you may receive credit for Level 1 and move right into Level 2. If you have not completed a pre-employment program, you will need to complete Level 1 before moving on to Level 2 training.

Need to Change Your Training Location?

If you are scheduled for apprenticeship training but need to switch locations, complete this Request for Change in Location of Training form.

What Happens if You Cannot Attend Training?

If you are unable to attend in-school training, keep in mind that your apprenticeship status could be cancelled. Exceptions are sometimes made, so it is best to talk to an Apprenticeship Program Officer to discuss your situation.

Specialized Training (Post Journey and Specialty Courses)

Some jobs require unique skills, especially for large-scale projects. Specialized Training, which can include post-journey courses or specialty training, offers the opportunity for journeypersons and apprentices to acquire specific training to meet industry needs.
