Specialized Training Options
- Post-Journey Training: If you have a Newfoundland and Labrador journeyperson certificate, you can enhance your skills by taking courses from the current Plan of Training (POT). This is a perfect option if you have completed an older version of the POT or need to update your knowledge with new technologies.
- Specialty Training: Focus on acquiring specific in-demand skills that are not part of the Plan of Training (POT). To apply, industry support letters are required detailing the trade that qualifies for the training.
Note: If you are an apprentice, you may also be eligible for specialized training if your employer confirms that you have met the pre-requisites and indicates the apprenticeship level required. You will not be considered if you have refused regular class calls without a valid reason.
