Project Description:

The Proponent is proposing to develop approximately 30.5 hectares of land for agricultural use along the Argentia Access Road, Route 100, approximately 9.5 kilometres south of the Trans-Canada Highway. The land would be used for forage production and horticultural crops. Development would include mulching of trees and overgrowth and crushing excess rocks, which would be incorporated into the soil. The existing access road would require regrading of surface gravel and trimming of vegetation.

• January 3, 2025 – Deadline for public comments.
• January 13, 2025 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• January 10, 2025 – The Minister determined the Project is released.
