There are few services available along the length of the Main River, though you may encounter outfitter camps, especially near the headwaters.

Many services are available at the mouth of the River in the community of Sop’s Arm for those who plan to visit the Main River to canoe, kayak, fish, or white-water raft from the bridge area, in the Deep Valley Unit.

Cell phones do not work well in most of the Heritage River area-coverage will be spotty-though it is possible to make calls from some hilltops. You should carry your own satellite phone for emergency use.
