Project Description:
The proponent proposes to construct a 7 km snowmobile trail from an existing trail, to by-pass Castor River Pond, near Castor River on the Northern Peninsula. The trail includes a major 120 ft crossing over Castor River. Start of construction is tentatively scheduled to begin in early spring or summer 2004.
- April 7, 2004 – The undertaking was registered.
- May 17, 2004 – Public comments are due.
- August 6, 2004 – The Minister released the project from further environmental assessment.
