Project Description:
The proponent proposes to construct and operate a new 2,384,700 litre (15,000 bbl) gasoline storage tank, and associated infrastructure, at their refinery in Come-by-Chance.The new tank is required as part of the Truck Loading Terminal project but will be constructed separately adjacent to the existing NARL tank farm on “Gasoline Hill” inside a new earthen containment dyke. Construction is planned to begin on April 1, 2006 with the tank being commissioned on September 10, 2006.
- December 28, 2005 – The undertaking was registered.
- February 9, 2006 – Public comments are due.
- February 23, 2006 – The Minister releases the project from further environmental assessment.
