Project Description:

The proponent proposes to develop the property formerly known as South Brook Park
into a commercial tourism venture. The undertaking is located on the Southern shoreline
of Deer Lake, within the municipal boundaries of the Town of Pasadena. The area will be
developed into a commercial tourism venture consisting of 168 resort development units
as chalets and condominiums (48 dual resident and 6 multi-resident units), public trails,
picnic areas, parking lots, interpretation kiosks, restaurants and aquatic/sports facilities.
There will be new roads, water and sewer, and electrical and communications systems
developed as well.

  • July 19, 2006 – The undertaking was registered.
  • August 24, 2006 – Deadline for public comments.
  • Sept 2, 2006 – The Minister’s decision is due.
  • November 17, 2026 – the Project has been released.
