Project Description:

The proposed project consists of construction of a breakwater, dredging of a boat basininside the breakwater, construction of 12 floating docks, a community slipway, and aparking lot/boat storage area, along the waterfront of Cox’s Cove between the existingpublic dock and the mouth of Frenchman’s Brook. The project will provide berthage andstorage services for commercial and recreational boaters. The project will be completed infive phases over a period of five years, with each phase to be completed over a six weekperiod each year, likely in the months of October and November.

• July 2, 2010 – The undertaking was registered.
• August 11, 2010 – Public comments are due.
• August 16, 2010 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• September 23, 2010 – The project is released.
