Project Description:

The proponent proposes the construction of an all terrain vehicle (ATV) and snowmobiletrail to access cabins and the Burin Peninsula Highway Super Trail. The trail is proposedto be constructed from Terrenceville to Southern Hills Pond, east to Beaver Ride, and endat Route 210 near Gull Pond. The trail will be approximately 16 kilometres in length anda maximum of four metres wide. Construction of the trail is to include manual labour andmay include the use of an excavator and is expected start in the summer upon receipt ofrequired permits.

• March 2, 2011 – The undertaking was registered.
• April 7, 2011 – Public comments are due.
• April 14, 2011 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• May 12, 2011 – The Minister announced that the project is released.
