Project Description:

The project involves the construction of a 2.5 kilometre ATV trail that will be used to accesscabins located along the trail and at Fall Pond. The trail is proposed to be constructedalong Old Mill Road near the intersection with Route 210 and near the community of SwiftCurrent. Construction is to be completed by manual labour and use of an excavator. Thetrail will connect with an existing ATV trail and provide an alternate access point along OldMill Road. The existing trail is currently accessed along Route 210. Construction of thetrail is expected to begin in summer 2011.

  • June 16, 2011 – The undertaking was registered.
  • July 25, 2011 – Public comments are due.
  • July 28, 2011 – The Minister’s decision is due.
  • September 6, 2011 – The Minister announced that the project is released.
