Project Description:

The proponent proposes to develop a Recreational Vehicle (RV) Park at Broad Lake, nearBellevue, Avalon Peninsula. The proposed site covers approximately 48 to 52 hectares ofland and will include the development of 100 semi-serviced trailer lots. The projectincludes site access roads, welcome/registration center, canteen, washrooms, septicsystem dumping station for RV waste and walking trails. Construction is proposed to beginin Spring 2014 and be operational by May 2016.

• November 1, 2013 – The undertaking was registered.
• December 6, 2013 – Deadline for public comments.
• December 16, 2013 – The minister’s decision is due.
• March 6, 2014 – The Minister announced that the project is released.
