Project Description:

The proponent has submitted a proposal to develop a 2.4 hectare quarry near First Pond in the Robert’s Arm area. The work will be seasonal and will involve the excavation of gravel, sand and rock. This proposed undertaking occurs in an area with extensive quarry development already, however, no new road construction is anticipated and no waterbodies will be crossed.

• May 25, 2016 – The undertaking was registered.
• June 29, 2016 – Deadline for public comments.
• July 8, 2016 – The Minister’s Decision is due.
• July 22, 2016 – The Minister announced that the project is released.
