Project Description:

The proponent proposes a 3.5 hectare extension to the existing quarry located approximately 2.5 kilometres east of Doyles in the Codroy Valley. The quarry is to be developed for gravel, sand and rock removal. The site is located between the communities of Doyles and Benoits Siding, near Little Codroy Pond. Access to the quarry will be off the TransCanada Highway via an existing 1.6 kilometre haul road.

• March 27, 2017 – The undertaking was registered.
• May 5, 2017 – Deadline for public comments.
• May 11, 2017 – The Minister’s Decision is due.
• June 29, 2017 – The Minister announced that the project is released.
