Project Description:

The proponent has submitted a proposal to establish and operate a 7.8 hectare quarry on the road to Terra Nova, six kilometres west of the TransCanada Highway.  The site will be accessed via an existing road.  The project will supply aggregate for infrastructure projects in the Terra Nova and surrounding area.  The quarry will be developed once there is sufficient demand for the aggregate.

• April 10, 2017 – The undertaking was registered.
• May 18, 2017 – Deadline for public comments.
• May 25, 2017 – The Minister’s Decision is due.
• May 30, 2017 – The project was released.
• May 30, 2020 – Project expired.
