Project Description:

The proponent is proposing to amend the commercial harvest block CC02057 of the 2017-2021 Five Year Operating Plan in District 2. This block is located southeast of the Terra Nova River and approximately 12 kilometres southwest of Terra Nova. The amendment area is 127-hectares providing 17,000 cubic metres of timber. The area included in this amendment is accessible by an existing access road and an additional access road recently constructed in association with the Labrador-Island Link project.

• July 5, 2017 – The undertaking was registered.
• August 9, 2017 – Deadline for public comments.
• August 19, 2017 – The Minister’s Decision is due.
• September 11, 2017 – The Minister announced that the project is released.
