Project Description:

The Proponent is proposing to replace two deteriorating bridges over tributary brooks to Northwest River, a scheduled salmon river. This work is required to maintain access to Camp Nor’Wes, a Scouts Canada (NL) campsite which borders Northwest Pond, near the Town of Port Blandford, in Eastern Newfoundland.

  • August 31, 2023 – The undertaking was registered.
  • October 5, 2023 – Deadline for public comments.
  • October 15, 2023 – The Minister’s decision is due.
  • October 11, 2023 – The Minister has determined the project is released.
