Project Description:

The Proponent is proposing to ford a scheduled salmon river (Brian’s Feeder) in order to conduct a drilling program on a mineral exploration property located 15 kilometres southeast of the town of Daniel’s Harbour. Fording would include the use of tracked vehicles to transport equipment at the beginning of the Project and for removal when the Project is completed in early 2025. Access to Brian’s Feeder would include clearing a 290-metre trail to the river from existing access roads and further trail development for five kilometres to access the exploration property.

• November 28, 2024 – The undertaking was registered.
• January 3, 2025 – Deadline for public comments.
• January 12, 2025 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• January 10, 2025 – The Minister determined the Project is released.
