Project Description:

The proponent is proposing to develop, construct, and operate a spaceport complex on the Burin Peninsula in the municipal planning area for the Town of St. Lawrence. The project would consist of a launch complex, a 5-kilometre access road, and a mission control centre. The project would support regular small-lift orbital and suborbital launches once operational, for an eventual estimated peak of 20 launches annually.

• November 5, 2025 – The undertaking was registered.
• December 11, 2025 – Deadline for public comments.
• December 20, 2025 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• December 19, 2025 – The Minister determined the project is released.
