Project Description:
The proponent is proposing to develop and operate a 3.53-hectare sand, gravel and rock quarry approximately 3.8 kilometres northeast of Cape Ray. The quarry materials would be used for construction projects along the west coast of Newfoundland.
- February 13, 2026 – The undertaking was registered.
- March 20, 2026 – Deadline for public comments.
- March 30, 2026 – The Minister’s decision is due.
