Project Description:
The proponent proposes an amendment to the five year operating plan for Forest Management District 16 in two areas near Main River North and on the east side of Sheffield Lake. The plan amendment proposes the harvesting of 250,000 cubic metres of timber over a 2,030 hectare area and the construction of 22 kilometres of roads.
- December 14, 1999 – The undertaking was registered.
- February 7, 2000 – The Minister announced that an environmental preview report was required.
- April 3, 2000 – The Minister announced that the proponent has submitted the environmental preview report.
- November 14, 2000 – The Minister announced that the proponent had withdrawn the undertaking.
