Summary of Environmental Assessment Process

The proponent plans to construct a 1.0 kilometre road to access an existing cottage at South West Brook, located on the east side of Route 362, Pool’s Cove Highway. A 4.5 metre wide right-of-way and 3.7 metre wide gravel road is proposed to be constructed to the cottage. Construction of the road will take approximately 10 days to complete.

  • November 24, 2000 – The undertaking was registered.
  • January 16, 2001 – The Minister announced that the undertaking was released from environmental assessment.
