Project Description:

The proponent proposes a 43 lot freehold recreational cottage area and a 40 lot remote license to occupy recreational cottage area within an 8,891 hectare area reserved for passive outdoor recreation and compatible activities. The freehold cottage area will require the construction of approximately 1800 metres of road having a width of 65 metres. The area is located on the north shore of Deer Lake. The project is tentatively scheduled to begin in the fall of 2001.

  • August 3, 2001 – the Minister announced that the proponent has withdrawn the project.
