Project Description:

The proponent is proposing to develop and operate a 6.92-hectare sand and gravel quarry approximately 2.1 kilometres from the community of Barachois Brook. The quarry materials would be used for roadway development, and commercial and residential paving in the area.

• July 25, 2025 – The undertaking was registered.
• August 29, 2025 – Deadline for public comments.
• September 8, 2025 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• September 8, 2025 – The Minister has determined the project is released.
