Project Description:
The proponent is proposing to develop a quarry extension of 10.4 hectares located 2.5 kilometres east of Doyles in western Newfoundland. The undertaking will require manual harvesting of trees for further extraction of gravel, sand and rock with excavators and trucks to support a construction operation based on local demand.
- February 21, 2025 – The undertaking was registered.
- March 28, 2025 – Deadline for public comments.
- April 7, 2025 – The Minister’s decision is due.
- April 2, 2025 – The Minister determined the project is released.
