Gerry Kilfoil is a Project Geophysicist with the Department of Industry, Energy and Technology.

With more than 35 years of public service, Gerry has shown outstanding dedication by providing the highest quality geophysical data for both internal and client use, enhancing the Provincial Government’s public geoscience program with innovative approaches to data management and solution delivery. His efforts support the development of the rich mineral resources of Newfoundland and Labrador.

Most recently, Gerry has devoted countless hours to mentorship and training, working closely with new geophysicists to enhance the Provincial Government’s overall capacity for geophysical interpretation and geospatial data visualization.

Gerry is always willing to rise to any challenge and lend a hand. He executes every single undertaking with great thought, care, and precision.

By sharing his accumulated knowledge and expertise, Gerry has ensured that the Geological Survey and the Provincial Government maintains the highest standards of data collection, interpretation, and service delivery.
