As Director of Human Resources with the Department of Health and Community Services Tina Follett is noted for her outstanding work ethic and her promotion of an innovative organizational culture. She constantly seeks ways to improve human resource policies, making the department an employer of choice.
Furthermore, she is instrumental during significant periods of change as is evidenced by her ability to recruit and train staff on short notice for a temporary detox/treatment centre for Innu, or her assistance to redeployed employees whose jobs were transferred.

She uses every available opportunity to promote the public service and the contributions of its employees. Public Service Week, for example, is a time when Tina promotes the staff of her department and helps build morale.
