Provides leadership, expertise, advisory and consultation services for information management and protection.
Accountable for ensuring all information protection and security measures are in place for the creation, management, preservation and protection of all Treasury Board Secretariat records.
Responsible for the planning, developing, directing, controlling and monitoring the Secretariat’s information management and protection program and policies along with implementing effective technology systems.
Administers and ensures the Secretariat’s compliance with government-wide Information Management and Privacy legislation, including the Management of Information Act, the Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Act, 2015 and the Rooms Act.
