The average price of new motor vehicles sold in the province stood at $54,687 in December 2025, marking the highest average price on record for the province and an increase of 5.7% compared to December 2024. At the national level, the average price decreased by 1.4% to $58,849 in December 2025.
On an annual basis, the number of new motor vehicles sold in the province increased by 9.3% in 2025 compared to 2024, representing the second highest growth in the country behind Nova Scotia (12.2%). The corresponding value of sales increased by 9.5%.
At the national level, the number of sales decreased by 6.1% compared to December 2024, and the value of sales decreased by 7.4%. On an annual basis, the number of sales for Canada increased by 2.1% in 2025 compared to 2024, and the value of sales increased by 0.9%.
