All Party Committee for Mental Health, Substance Use and Addiction
In September 2023, an All-Party Committee on Mental Health, Substance Use and Addictions was created in response to the continued need for promotion, prevention, early intervention, treatment and support for people living with mental health, substance use, and addiction issues.
Consisting of members from all parties of the House of Assembly, the committee will review the connections between mental health, substance use and addictions and other social determinants of health, such as housing, poverty, and education; and inform the development of future programs and services.
