Morning specimen required
- Special Collection / Transport / Processing Requirements
Specimen for this test must be collected, processed, aliquotedand frozen within 60 minutes of collection. Collect blood in CHILLED LAVENDER top tube (EDTA). Mix thoroughly by gentle inversion and immediately place tube in refrigerator for a minimum of 15 minutes but no more than 30. Centrifuge and separate plasma from red cells immediately. Aliquot plasma to a labelled transport aliquot tube
