Learn About Jobs and People in Different Areas of Newfoundland and Labrador
This section shares information about jobs and people in different parts of Newfoundland and Labrador. The province is divided into 11 areas called Census Divisions. Two of these areas (Divisions 10 and 11) are combined to give a better picture of Labrador. There’s also a separate profile for the St. John’s area, which is the biggest city and has the most people and businesses.
The 2024 update includes helpful facts like:
- Population: Changes in age groups, number of men and women, and how many people identify as Indigenous.
- Education: How many people finished college or university, and what they studied.
