Project Description:

The proponent has submitted a proposal for a Five-Year Operating Plan for Zone 6 which includes Forest Management Districts 14 and 15 in southwestern Newfoundland. The plan describes proposed timber harvesting operations and silviculture activities. The plan covers the period from January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2023.

• July 4, 2018 – The undertaking was registered.
• August 9, 2018 – Deadline for public comments.
• August 18, 2018 – The Minister’s Decision is due.
• September 14, 2018 – The Minister announced that the project is released.
