Public Advisory: Resource Road Bridge Maintenance Continues Near Grand Falls-Windsor

Scheduled maintenance on three bridges along resource roads in the Grand Falls-Windsor area which started on Wednesday, December 16 is taking longer than originally planned.

Ongoing maintenance to the Upper Stoney Brook Bridge and Little Rattling Brook Bridge, located four kilometers along the Paradise Lake resource road, is expected to be completed by December 24.

Subject to weather conditions, maintenance work on the Main Exploits River Bridge, located behind the former Abitibi Paper Mill site, is scheduled for December 27 to December 31.

Users of resource roads in these areas can expect long delays during the maintenance period. Individuals seeking additional information should contact the Forestry and Wildlife office in Bishop’s Falls at 709-258-5334.
