The Honourable John G. Abbott, Minister of Children, Seniors and Social Development, will issue a call for applications for the 2021-22 Age-Friendly Newfoundland and Labrador Communities Program tomorrow (Wednesday, July 7).

The event will take place at 1:15 p.m. at the Town of Summerford Town Hall, 2 Main Street.

Minister Abbott will be joined by the Honourable Krista Howell, Minister of Municipal and Provincial Affairs, and Mayor Kevin Barnes, Town of Summerford.

Public Health guidelines will be followed and media who wish to attend are asked to register by calling 709-729-3768 or emailing ginamacarthur@gov.nl.ca.
