The Honourable John G. Abbott, Minister of Children, Seniors and Social Development, will bring greetings at the launch of The Salvation Army’s 2021 Christmas Kettle Campaign tomorrow (Thursday, November 18).

The event will take place at the lower level of the Avalon Mall, near the Happy Tree, at 48 Kenmount Road, St. John’s, starting at 10:00 a.m.

The Salvation Army’s Christmas Kettle Campaign is one of Canada’s largest and most recognizable annual charitable events with more than 2,000 kettles across Canada.

Public health guidelines will be in place.
