Digital Government and Service NL is providing yet another online tool for the public and businesses to access government services.

The Financial Services online licence application allows clients to process new licences, renewals and annual filings, including licensing for insurance, pre-paid funerals, real estate and mortgage brokers. Licensees can also view their history and update personal information.

The online application increases processing and efficiency, allows licences to be issued through email, and reduces the number of paper-based applications, which were previously processed manually. Digital processing also generates reports for workflow management. Some clients hold multiple licences, and this self-serve online application securely stores their data on all required information while saving them valuable time.

This initiative aligns with the department’s continued focus on digital government to transform the way services are being delivered.
