As the winter season approaches motorists should consider having their winter tires installed before road conditions turn to snow and ice. Those who choose to use studded tires may do so as of Monday, November 1.

Motorists are reminded to drive according to the weather conditions. Motorists can also better prepare their vehicles for winter by ensuring tires are in good condition, brakes, wipers and lights are in working order, and that all fluid levels including windshield wash, antifreeze and oil are checked.
