The Honourable Bernard Davis, Minister of Environment and Climate Change, will announce funding from the Low Carbon Economy Leadership Fund to support a waste and emission reduction project on the Burin Peninsula. The minister will be joined by Paul Pike, the MHA for Burin – Grand Bank and Harold Murphy, Chair of the Burin Peninsula Regional Service Board.

The event will take place tomorrow (Thursday, July 8) at 10:45 a.m. outside at the Burin Waste Management Site, 98-103, Burin Peninsula Highway.

Physical distancing and other public health guidelines will be in place.
