The Honourable Bernard Davis, Minister of Environment and Climate Change, along with Gudie Hutchings, Member of Parliament for Long Range Mountains, will announce funding from the Low Carbon Economy Leadership Fund for the Central Fire Hall and the Bruce II Sports Complex in the Town of Channel – Port aux Basques on Monday, August 2 at 10:00 a.m. The announcement will take place at the Bruce II Sports Complex, 200 Hardy’s Arterial Road.

Minister Davis will be joined by the Honourable Andrew Parsons, Minister of Industry, Energy and Technology and MHA for Burgeo – La Poile, and John Spencer, Mayor of Channel – Port aux Basques.

Physical distancing and other public health guidelines will be in place.
