Students Reminded Provincial Government Accepting Applications for Virtual Summer Programs in French

The Honourable Tom Osborne, Minister of Education reminds students that applications are being accepted for virtual Summer Programs offered in French. The deadline for applications is Wednesday, April 28.

With an investment of $600,000 through the Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Agreement on Minority-Language Education and Second Official-Language Instruction, the summer programs will provide grade nine and level one students the opportunity to discover the culture of a different region and meet new people while improving their language skills in a virtual environment.
