The Honourable Tom Osborne, Minister of Education, on behalf of the Honourable Andrew Parsons, Minister of Industry, Energy and Technology, will participate in a funding announcement tomorrow (Friday, May 7). The event is taking place at the Railway Coastal Museum, 495 Water Street, St. John’s, beginning at 11:30 a.m.

Minister Osborne will be joined by the Honourable Seamus O’Regan, Minister of Natural Resources and MP for St. John’s South-Mount Pearl; Dr. Vianne Timmons, President and Vice-Chancellor of Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador; Danny Breen, Mayor, City of St. John’s; representatives of Genesis; and a representative of the Railway Coastal Museum Board.

Due to COVID-19 health guidelines, the number of attendees for this indoor event is limited. Media planning to attend are required to RSVP via email to kmaguire@stjohns.ca by 9:00 a.m. on Friday, May 7.
