The Honourable Andrew Furey, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will participate in a funding announcement for long-term care in the province today (Friday, August 6). Premier Furey will be joined by the Honourable Patty Hajdu, federal Minister of Health; the Honourable John Haggie, Minister of Health and Community Services; the Honourable Deb Schulte, federal Minister of Seniors; and the Honourable Seamus O’Regan, Jr., federal Minister of Natural Resources and MP for St. John’s South – Mount Pearl.

The event will take place in St. John’s at Saint Luke’s Home, 24 Road De Luxe at 11:00 a.m.

Physical distancing and other public health measures will be in place.
