The following is being distributed at the request of Her Honour, the Honourable Judy M. Foote P.C., O.N.L, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador:
The Honourable Judy M. Foote, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador and Chancellor of the Order of Newfoundland and Labrador, will be joined by the Honourable Andrew Furey, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, at the investiture ceremony for recipients of the Order of Newfoundland and Labrador.
The ceremony will take place tomorrow (Wednesday, September 1) at 11:00 a.m., at Government House and will be streamed live on Facebook and YouTube.
Media representatives planning to cover the ceremony are asked to be in place by 10:15 a.m. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, no cameras or reporters will be permitted in the ceremony room. Media will be situated in the Billiards Room. An audio and video feed will be provided. Media are requested to keep any noise at a minimum, as the ceremony room is adjacent.

The nine inductees for this year are John R. Barrett, David Gordon Bradley, N. Louise Bradley, C.M., Fred Budgell, Dr. Alice M. Collins, Marlene Creates, Dr. Donald Bruce Dingwell, O.C., Lester C. Powell, and Dr. Ted O. Rosales.
