The Honourable Andrew Furey, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, and the Honourable Gerry Byrne, Minister of Immigration, Population Growth and Skills, will meet with Afghan newcomers and welcome them to the province. They will be joined by Megan Morris, Executive Director of the Association for New Canadians.

The meeting will take place tomorrow (Tuesday, November 16), at the Association for New Canadians Donation Centre, 16 Smithville Crescent (St. Pius X Parish Hall), St. John’s, beginning at 11:00 a.m.
