Effective tomorrow (Wednesday, May 12), several forest access roads in central Labrador will be will be closed to motor vehicle traffic until further notice. The roads will remain open for ATV use.

Roads scheduled for temporary closure include the:

• South Branch Resource Road
• Goose River Resource Road
• Groves Point Road
• Grand Lake Resource Road System (beginning at the eight kilometer mark, at the second gate)

Temporary forest access road closures at this time of year are required to protect them from motor vehicle damage during the spring thawing period.
