The Department of Fisheries, Forestry and Agriculture is requesting proposals to develop a private park on Crown land, located near Holyrood Pond in Eastern Newfoundland.
This parcel of land, formerly used as a park, is approximately 215 hectares and located in the Town of Gaskiers-Point La Haye in St. Mary’s Bay. The original park opened in 1973 and was decommissioned in 1995.
Information for proponents is available on the department’s website here. Proposals will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. (NST) on November 26, 2021. The department will only accept proposals for parks, campgrounds, or other tourism-related activities.
