The House of Assembly advises that media will be permitted access for the swearing-in ceremony of Members-elect of the 50th General Assembly scheduled for Monday, April 12 for photography and videography purposes. An audio/visual feed will also be available in the Press Gallery and the Press Room, and the ceremony will be streamed live on the House of Assembly website (www.assembly.nl.ca).

Media wishing to attend the ceremony for photography and videography purposes will be permitted access to the Public Gallery, accessible via the entrance located on the 3rd floor, East Block, Confederation Building. Media must be in position by no later than 9:45 a.m. on Monday. Once in position, movement around the Gallery and re-entry will not be permitted.

Media wishing to attend must pre-register no later than 9:00 a.m. on Monday, April 12 with Mark Jerrett (markjerrett@gov.nl.ca).
