| Summary: | The Complainant made an access to information request to the City of St. John’s pursuant to the Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Act, 2015 (“ATIPPA, 2015”). The City declined to provide the records based on section 28 (local public body confidences). The Complainant made a complaint to this Office. The Commissioner determined that section 28 had been appropriately applied and that the test for section 9 (public interest override) had not been met. The Commissioner recommended the City continue to withhold the records. |
