The 2021 Premier’s Athletic and Team Gushue Awards will be held in September via a hybrid event (both virtual and in-person).

A detailed media advisory will be issued once the date, time and location for the event has been confirmed.

The Premier’s Athletic Awards recognize athletic excellence and provides financial support to help offset the costs of training and competition. Successful applicants receive awards ranging from $500 to $1,500, based on their accomplishments and their level of competition.

The Team Gushue Awards, in honour of Team Gushue’s gold medal win at the 2006 Winter Olympics, are presented annually to one male athlete and one female athlete, who excel in athletics and academics.
